Another Serpent biting it's tail

http://www.crystalinks.com/ouroboros.html ouroboros defined

We close our modern day myth with the ancient symbol of the earth, Ourobourus, a snake biting its tail. We posit this image as a metaphor for the changes we are currently witnessing in our culture and economy. We have entered a moment in history when in order to go forward we have to remember what we once knew.

“It is said a time would come when the cutting edge of the future would face the most primordial roots of our past. In that moment a new world would be born. A new dimension of the self would arise.”

Ideas and imagination now drive this intangible economy of invisible forces, so it is far easier for the artistic and mystical dimensions of the human spirit to find their way in.”

“If the next generation portends the future, then here’s what is coming. Most polls taken of the new millennium generation, now 0-18 years old, suggest that they are more altruistic, service oriented and care more about the planet and ecology than any other prior generation. They buy in packs, instant messaging as they make their purchase. They play complex collaborative games that cross international boundaries. They are far more tolerant and accepting of differences. Their relationship with peers is paramount. They expect a world beat. A global brain is already awakened in their thoughts. They saw their parents work hard, often sacrificing quality of life in order to get ahead. They say in polls that they don’t want the same for themselves. It will be a few years before they seriously impact the workplace, but the word on the streets is that they will want far more collaborative, fluid, balanced and non competitive environments.”

Flags:

Starting with the American flag.....this is what it looks like now:

 13 stripes

This is an original prototype:

Picture of the First Flag of the United States of America

I've found this one interesting too...
It's the first version of the U.S. flag.
You will find the All-Seeing-Eye (Eye of Horus)
& a prismatic (pyramidal) pencil of 9 rays of light
& seven stars/pentagram.
I suppose (I can't be sure) the 9 rays
symbolize the "Unknown Superiors"
(Supirieurs Inconnus [S.I.]).

This is what it should look like now:

 confederate flag 13 stars
